GAPU make music inspired by the sound of the Mbira*.
The suggestive tone
and rythm of the ancient instrument blends with the distinct melodies
of the
guitar. GAPU play a mix of traditional Zimbabwean songs and new original
compositions.
The lyrics are sung both in isi-Shona and Swedish.

* The Mbira is a "thumb piano" of zimbabwean origins and great importance
to the traditional music of the country.
